| Seriously, WTF is wrong with the Chief Editor? They did all they could to improve their non-enough points and they also added something brand new: seriousness & comedy mixed together. I wonder how the season finale will be. |

| The criticism from the lead editor was abit harsh. How can they judge a manga's potential with a majority vote like this? It would just lead to people voting based on personal preference. I'm surprised more people didn't vote for them to win simply to see how the manga would do serialised. It isn't something they should want their competitors to have if Ashirogi decided to work for another company unless there is something in their contract restricting them from using works submitted to Jack. |
| One thing I love about Bakuman is that it's realistic. Ashirogi 'fails' a lot, sure, but that makes it more interesting. If they got what they wanted all the time, the story would get boring. |
| I swear I read something like PCP before...very weird. But I'm not sure what will happen. This was their last chance and yet it wouldn't make sense for them to move to a different magazine. Either the decision has to be overturned or something. In the end though it's crazy to put this kind of thing to a vote. Who the heck knows what will be better in the end? The whole reason they let the public vote on their favorites is because they decide what is the best. If it was that tough they should have put it to a one-shot and see what happened. Not sure what to expect. They don't really have time to write something completely different. Maybe they could tweak it a bit, but I'm not even sure what else they could do. |

| I would buy that manga tbh. It was realistic imo and presented well especially with that fitting music in the background. I'm not too story on the overall plot but those two came up with some good ideas. It's just a shame what was said in the end there..oh well. Also, dat Miho resemblance:  |

| Ooooooouuuuuch... Somehow, I expected that. The episode title wasn't so optimistic. That's a sweet christmas gift... It's sad because I really liked the concept, it could have been leaded in many ways. I hope they don't throw away that idea. I don't think they'll be able to change the editor chief mind. He's a straigh man always values honesty and hard work. Their deal was to do a manga that could beat Crow and +Natural and in the end, they estimated that they couldn't win. That should normally mean that they won't draw anymore for Jack. But the question is : is that really so dramatic? Like they said often, there is other magazine. Sure, they are not as popular as a classic Jack/Jump, but they can still make a reputation in other magazines. I wonder if Miura will retire from Jack after that. I think it's something that he won't forgive soon... |
