Okay, so I got into this whole Tarot thing recently, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I decided to document my experience with each card, really get to know them, you know? So, I started with “The Tower” because, well, it looked intense, and I wanted to tackle it head-on.
First, I grabbed my deck and shuffled it a bunch of times, really trying to connect with the cards. I laid out a simple three-card spread – past, present, future. I closed my eyes, took a few deep breaths, and focused on my current life situation: work stress, a bit of relationship uncertainty, the usual stuff.
Then, I flipped over the cards. And guess what? The Tower popped up in the “present” position. Seriously! I stared at it for a good five minutes. The image is pretty dramatic – a tower being struck by lightning, people falling… it’s a lot.
I pulled out my trusty notebook and started jotting down my immediate reactions. Words like “chaos,” “disruption,” “sudden change,” and “feeling overwhelmed” filled the page. I then compared it to the other card and my situations.
I spent the rest of the day really reflecting on what that could mean for me. Was there a big change coming? Was I holding onto something that needed to be destroyed? It was a bit unsettling, to be honest.
- I meditated on the card for about 15 minutes, just letting the imagery wash over me.
- I journaled about my fears and anxieties, trying to pinpoint anything that felt like a “tower” in my own life.
- I even talked to a friend about it, someone who’s also into Tarot, and she gave me some interesting insights.
By the end of the day, I didn’t have all the answers, but I definitely felt more aware. I guess that is the point. The Tower isn’t necessarily a “bad” card, it’s more about acknowledging that sometimes things need to fall apart so we can rebuild something stronger. It will be intresting to keep pulling cards and see what it all means in my personal situation.
