Words like "Anime" and "Otaku" are already their own plural form.
Those three I made years ago because I used to (Well, I still do) have difficulty relating to normies, being unable to relate to them and thinking that they often have the most superficial, wrong, uninformed and worst takes ever. So those worked as a form of "dogwhistle" to get away from "Reddit-people" and get together with people that were more into the medium, and thus were more interesting.
I do have more ideas than that, but I'm not sure if I could formulate them into "principles", like the fact that I'm ultra-biased against Korean and Chinese stuff, refusing to give them a chance, how I choose what anime to watch via their poster images, how I salute and take pride in this being a medium made, historically, by degenerates and outcasts and for degenerates and outcasts, and that anyone that claims to have a problem with that I consider and treat as a heretic.
I am completionist nowadays so I complete everything.
Watch it in normal speed.
Use headphones, unless I am watching on TV.
Only watch Sub.
Watch Op and Ed at least once.
If you enjoyed the time you wasted, then its not a waste of time.
- always 1x speed, because a faster speed would ruin things I value (directing, soundtrack, etc.)
- drop as soon as possible, because watching anime shouldn't be a torture and I can always try again in the future if I see the potential
- trying and dropping is better than not trying at all, because leaving my comfort zone enriched my taste and made me find many unexpectedly good anime
- rewatch, because taste changes over time (in moderation, I don't mean rewatching the same anime 20 times)
Always in normal speed. I don't understand people who speed it up, would mess with the audio and ruin the pacing set by the creators.
If possible, Japanese audio with English subs (though with some anime I can only find the English dub, in those cases I don't have a choice).
I skip recaps since I hate them, but I watch other stuff.
I used to be a total completionist (outside of recaps), where I would watch all of the auxiliary content and apocrypha, but now I pick and choose what extra content I want to see -- usually OVAs, specials, shorts, music videos, etc -- but I tend to pass on (or never finish) picture dramas.
Try to watch at least one episode daily, but I won't stress myself out over it if I don't.
Focus entirely on what I'm watching.
Give every anime I start a fair shot, but I can usually tell pretty quickly if I'm not feeling it and will drop it to not waste my time (some people say "three episode rule" -- but sometimes all I need is 1 1/2 episodes to know that it's not for me).
When possible, avoiding Western meddling and censorship.
Besides the common stuff like always watching with subs, always watching the OP at least once yadda yadda, I make it a rule to rate shows that I enjoyed a few points higher than they even in my own opinion realistically should be.

Sure there's more things that I'm forgetting.
@Shimapan-chan I always thought that speed things were either for memes or for very formal watching of things you're not really interested in.
1. Always listen to the opening and ending songs on the first and last episodes (or the first of any new ones in the middle of a series)
2. Subbed only.
3. I'm trying realy hard to watch at least half an episode in one go. My attention span has been shot to shit, and I sometimes find myself pausing an episode every 3-5 minutes if there's even the slightest slow moment. (Sigh...What the internet has done to me...)
4. Try to never watch more than 2 anime at a time. I am good at following this rule, at least
"Wonder is always difficult until you forgive whoever destroyed your love of surprises" — Edmond Manning
When I watch something, I watch everything I can from it, unless I can't find it anywhere with subs [the Angelique ova's, will haunt my dreams].
Always sub's, either polish or english.
After I complete something I check for fanart's and add a board on my crazy pinterest account [check it if you like, It's also Szczelajo]
After few anime, I go to my Husbando Pinterest accounts and make boards for my guys [I needed to make a second account, cuz I hit a board limit] [It's 2000 boards] [So I for real have over 2000 husbando's XD] [It's dedication!]
I always watch OP or ED at least twice, If I like it I tend not to skip
One thing at a time
Rewatch before a sequel if not I try to watch a recap at least [If I don't remember details]
I write character names in a note-book, no reason, I just like doing it
I am pretty flexible so no hard fast rules. I suppose the only "rule" I always follow would be to watch anime at regular speed. To me, it doesn't make sense to watch an anime outside its normal speed. This is more a mindset; the thought of adjusting the speed of an anime never crossed my mind until I heard others doing it.
--- EDIT---
Oh just thought of one rule I follow. I tend only to watch dubs when on the treadmill. It is hard reading subs when you are bouncing up and down or getting out of breath and tired. I have done it but it is a pain to do.
