I personally don't know of any challenges in the AWCC that don't allow overlap with this one, but I would check the rules of those challenges to make sure. |

| If you can't guarantee that I won't lose my perfect inspection because MAL decided to change a title I don't want to participate. Last year I rechecked everything at least ten times and all my efforts were for nothing because it took you two months to inspect me. |

Is having a meaningless title worth not entering the entire challenge? I missed the perfect inspection pass because I didn't add specific numbers like "#1333 popularity" but instead added a screenshot that showed it. - Which meant it wasn't perfect and I had to "fix it" despite the numbers being right there. It's unfortunate but I don't see how that would affect you're entry into the AWC, it's still a way to watch stuff you'd normally wouldn't. |

It's easier and faster to fix the challenges, since there's more and more participants every year... you need a form to make everything faster. That's why the closing date is in november this year, while last year it was 15 december, and before that it was like 30 december... it's harder to check everything, so simplify is a must. |

| Seems pretty similiar to last year ... most likely I will skip it, because stacking tiers isn't good, imo. I for one want to look at all the challenges and do them in the order I want, because I feel like doing a certain challenge and not deciding in one tier until I have done all there to get to the next one. This blocks many seasonal animes from using them in the challenge if you don't have a lot of free time to watch A LOT besides seasonals. I had fun doing the highest challenges prior to 2019, but 2019 doing the challenge felt more like a chore than fun. (I only finished the lowest tier, because of that) Hopefully 2021 will get better ... just one year to wait for it. Edit: Also I can't wait until one future challenge only lasts for January, now that this challenge ends on 30th november aka. you just kill one month of the year and it's less time than last year. Why cut it more each coming year? It should be the whole year nevertheless. |

I assume they cut out a whole compared to 15 days last year because they want to have enough time to get everyone's list inspected in time. They're still not done with the 2019 inspection. If you are trying for the Torch-Bearer extra title, we will be a little bit more critical in our inspections as stated in the "Extra Titles: "Master of..." (optional) and Torch-Bearer" section. Any anime titles that change after your challenge turn-in will be exceptions to that. Unfortunately for us, the MAL team started going on a title updating spree at the end of last year and not sure if it will continue into this year. We know this, and we are trying to be as accommodating as possible. That being said, we still expect that titles are being checked before turn-ins are posted. As for taking two months, my apologies but please remember that the team members volunteer to do this during their free time. We try our best to be quick, but it's not always possible. It seems like you understood well enough from reading them :) Yes Diamond can be started at any time. Yes any anime watched starting January 01, 2020 can be used, even if you didn't sign up on the first day.
