| Great episode! The anime is adapting the manga quite faithfully. I'm just glad that Tadokoro is finally in the anime now. This is when I started loving her character, and shipping her with Soma. Plus, they hinted at A LOT of the other characters! Hope some of them get to make appearances as well! |

| Megumi is sweet character, ever-annoyed Erina sure has rival when dealing with Souma. I wonder what their future interactions with Souma will be. But first to introduce other characters I guess. Can't wait for moment when they will go against each other. |

| This episode was... alright. It was VERY predictable, but still enjoyable and I also liked the fact that they toned down the foodgasms; this week's was a shorter scene without any jiggling or uncomfortable moaning (YAY!) On the other hand, I still can't get behind the MC. He's too much of a Marty Sue. His voice actor doesn't bother me because he sounds quite different from Kirito anyway, so, he's doing fine I guess. I'm curious for the other characters that appear in the opening and ending sequences, and it seems like this could only get better, so I'll keep watching :) |

| Megumi was quite fun, the way she stared at her cooking looked like she was about to pop a vein or something xD Souma announcement was fun with everyone hating him now. Souma with the carry! It was fun how he came and top and with the people who caused trouble got what they deserved. |

| Some new characters but damn, Megumi is so cute! Her shyness and her anxiousness just makes her even more adorable and funny. When she was intensively staring at the pot waiting for the beef to be finished was so hilarious! Love how Souma explains the methods he used for his cooking. This show can probably teach me stuff about cooking. No real ecchi scenes but it was really nice when they ate the beef. Megumi being bathed in honey was so MMMMMM! Love how they use tentacles in this show to represent not only what Megumi was eating (squid), but how disgusting it is, lol. Erina's reactions when she thinks about Souma is amusing. |

When the mangaka realized that he didn't need fanservice anymore to attract adolescent boys to buy the manga, he made the foodgasms more comedic and with more action. So no, the manga is not known for ecchi foodgasms since they are only a panel or two and one can glance over them quickly without feeling uncomfortable. | Awesome episode! The new girl is cute by Erina's pissed off face is priceless. I knew from the start that he'll pas but after seeing that he made a strict chef smile and uttering that he could have given him higher than A was amazing!!!! Never underestimate somebody that grew up in the kitchen unless all that he had been doing is eat. HAHah |

| This show is too much fun and makes me so hungry. Didn't remember Megumi being this frantic in the beginning but maybe that's because there's actually voice now. Really do enjoy that ED song too. So cheerful. |
| Another fantastic episode of Shokugeki no Souma! It was great to see cameos of all the future characters, to appear later on, in the opening school ceremony scene. We also finally got to see Megumi and I have to say I think her voice is perfect! Definitely matches her shy personality but also her willingness to cook. Those 2 guys tried to sabotage Souma and Megumi's dish but Souma being the badass cook he is saves the day and impresses Chapelle-sensei claiming that he'd give them a higher rating if he could. The foodgasm scene was also hilarious; the Souma bees pouring honey all over Megumi as she was eventually swimming in a pool of honey with Chapelle lmao. Of course, Souma makes Megumi try out his disgusting squid variations. xD Can't wait to see the Polar Star dorm roommates and the 'Madonna' next episode. :D 5/5 |

| This has to be a 2-cour if this is the pace they're going at. After ep. 2 if this was a 1-cour it'd almost certainly speed up. Instead there's padded content being tossed in almost every possible juncture... Not that I'm complaining. This should be more and more enjoyable as it goes on as the series moves away from pure fan service and more into neta-style humor. |
